Old New Quay
Crux Associates are currently Project Managing the transformation of Old New Quay in Whitehaven. The project will result in the renovation of the historic Flag Tower and Rocket House and give public access to the main part of the Quay for the first time in 50 years with the demolition of a derelict wartime MOD building at the entrance to the Quay.
Whitehaven Harbour Facilities Block
Crux Associates Project Managed the restructure and extension of the Whitehaven Marina Offices and facilities block, creating an open plan office space, meeting rooms and deck area with balcony.
North & West Cumbria Fisheries Local Action Group (FLAG)
Crux Associates were appointed as Programme Managers for the North & West Cumbria Fisheries Local Action Group Programme (FLAG).
Successfully managing and administrating a grant fund of £1.8 Million Pounds from the European Fisheries Fund (EFF) to successful applicants in fishing communities along the Solway Coast, working in partnership with Whitehaven Harbour Commissioners and the Marine Management Organisation (MMO).
Haig Colliery Mining Museum, Cafe & Visitors Centre
Crux Associates were appointed as Project Managers on the renovation of Haig Colliery Mining Museum in Whitehaven and on the construction of a modern cafe and visitors centre adjacent to the historic mining museum.
